Installing Exchange 2007 SP3 Issue Tracker

This was sometime back when I had proper downtime for upgarding the service pack of Exchange 2007 SP1 to SP3. I cannot tell the risk of upgrading I went through but wanted to give my customer confidence that we can overcome anyway.

That night as started the activity it was as if I was digging the grave just because the issue came one after another unexpectedly. I didn’t bothered anyway and ordered my dinner for the night and was sure I would do it just before planned downtime.

It was fortunate that I was able to complete with no downtime of the SCC cluster and having 2 HUB/CAS. Yes I had to log a case with MS for 1 issue but(you know the time to respond as per the severity minimun 2 hours for “A”) truly it was my friends(exchange one’s) who helped me out to overcome all the issue on call. At the end I did share the issue tracker with the “SE” & thought as well FYI…..
